The Judge’s Eye: Virtual Assessments

Stop guessing. Start scoring.

Have you ever looked at a scoresheet and wondered, “What does ‘lack of intent’ even mean?” or “How do I fix our spacing without re-blocking the whole routine?”

As a coach, you may be too close to the choreography to see what’s missing. As a judge, I see where the points are being left on the table.

This is not a critique, it’s clarity.

The Judge’s Eye is a specialized assessment service designed to bridge the gap between the judge’s table and your next practice. I don’t just tell you what’s wrong; I "translate" the jargon into actionable, tangible steps that build your team’s confidence.

How We Work: Virtual Performance Clarity

The bridge between the judge’s table and your team’s next breakthrough.

  1. Start the Conversation: Submit your inquiry via the Let’s Connect page. We’ll connect briefly to talk through your goals, your team’s current season, and the specific dates you’re aiming for.

  2. Share Your Vision: Once we're aligned, you’ll share your routine video and any recent scoresheets/verbal feedback. If you have a specific state or national rubric you’re working toward, send that over! I’ll use it to align my feedback with what your judges appear to be looking for.

  3. The Judge’s Eye Review*: I look at your performance through a judge’s lens to find the Points of Impact. This is a two-part assessment: Part I, you will receive a verbal recording of my real-time feedback over your video. This is where I identify the specific counts, transitions, or technical details where points might be slipping away. Additionally, you’ll receive your Impact Roadmap (Part II). This isn't a generic list of critiques; it is a strategic tool for your next rehearsal featuring Three Priority Points filled with suggestions for improvement and Judge Speak translations (if scoresheets/verbal feedback is provided) you can use immediately.

Need to dive deeper? You can add a 30-minute video review call to walk through the roadmap together via Zoom or Google Meet for a real-time discussion and Q&A session. See Collaboration Add-Ons below.

*You can typically expect your The Judge’s Eye review within 3-5 business days. Turnaround times may extend during peak competitive seasons. Any adjustments to the delivery schedule will be clearly communicated during your initial consultation.
