Soloist Spotlight
Individual Artistry & Development
Personalized cleaning and technical guidance to help individual dancers find clarity and confidence in their routine.
For the soloist, the difference is in the details. I provide the same high-level The Judge’s Eye perspective for individuals as I do for full teams helping soloists find their unique performance voice and the technical clarity needed to take the floor with confidence.
Option #1: Individual Virtual Review: $45/routine
A deep-dive video assessment (The Judge’s Eye) and custom Impact Roadmap to identify technical blind spots and elevate performance clarity.
The Focus: A deep-dive into your solo footage through The Judge’s Eye. We move beyond the basic steps to uncover technical blind spots, refine performance projection, and sharpen the artistic finishes that define a polished routine.
The Deliverable: You will receive The Judge’s Eye verbal recording of my real-time feedback over your video, paired with a Soloist Impact Roadmap that identifies your three highest-priority areas for growth.
The Goal: To provide the soloist with the clarity and confidence needed to own their performance, ensuring their hard work translates effectively from practice to the stage.
Option #2: In-Person One-on-One Polish: $50/hour
Hands-on cleaning to sharpen technical finishes and build the dancer’s confidence. (2-hour minimum)
The Challenge: A soloist often spends hours perfecting their steps, but they may struggle to understand how their performance "reads" to a judge. They need to know how to bridge the gap between their technical practice and a more intentional, confident presentation.
The Approach: I provide a one-on-one perspective that combines my 30 years of teaching with The Judge’s Eye. We focus on the specific details, such as; timing, placement, and performance quality to help their individual strengths shine. I offer adjustments that are easy to understand and integrate, helping the dancer connect more deeply with their choreography.
The Result: Increased confidence and personal growth. The dancer walks away with a clearer understanding of their routine and the Mindset Mark, the mental focus needed to take the floor with a sense of readiness and purpose
A Collaborative Note: I love supporting individual growth. To ensure we are all aligned, I ask that all soloist assessments are discussed with your studio director or coach prior to our session. This keeps the dancer’s training consistent and collaborative.
